The World Peace Game is an opportunity for students and educators from around the world to come together and solve world problems that effect us all by looking thoughtfully for solutions. The next camp will be facilitated by John Hunter, the inventor of the game, thanks to a generous grant from MBEF.
The World Peace Game poses 50 world problems for students to solve. Students are organized into four country teams each with Prime Ministers, Secretaries of Defense, and Cabinet staff. The game allows children to practice creative problem-solving, empathy, thoughtful negotiation, and consideration for others. The first game in Southern California was played in fall of 2018 at Meadows Elementary School. MBUSD wishes to help share this life changing experience with as many students and educators as possible by hosting John Hunter this summer. Please join us. |
